Brooke Roseman, PsyD
Outpatient therapist
My name is Brooke Roseman (she/her/hers), and I am a Licensed Psychologist with a deep well of gratitude for the work I am privileged to do. I see and appreciate the vulnerability it takes to seek out therapy during times of hardship, which inspires me to cultivate a space where trust and a sense-of-safety can organically develop. I primarily work with young to middle-aged adults with concerns related to identity, relationships, depression, anxiety, and trauma. I hold a Master of Science and a Doctor of Psychology degree from West Chester University and earned my Bachelor of Science from Widener University.
My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and engaging. Humor has a place in the work and is always welcome, along with any feedback for me on how you feel the process is going. It is my strong belief that transformative and enduring change is most possible when we feel able to show up as our authentic selves. In more “clinical” terms, though my orientation is deeply rooted in Relational Therapy, I often pull from treatment models such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic theory, and Existentialism.
I strive to hold awareness around the ways that intersectionality of various identities (i.e sexual orientation, race, gender identity, etc.) inform how we all experience and move through the world. My approach is grounded by the belief that all people exist within the
context of interconnected systems that shape both our lives and our meaning-making process. With openness and curiosity, I hold each individual to be the expert on themselves as I help guide towards deeper self-understanding and pathways towards healing.
Outside of the therapy room, you can find me enjoying time in nature, cuddling with my dog Odin, and trying out new recipes in kitchen.
