Michelle Regener, MSN, RN, CRNP, PMHNP-BC
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
I believe that every aspect of nursing has a calling – a pull to where you are meant to serve and care for those that may be experiencing difficult times in their lives. That place for me has always been in the mental health field. I have a passion as well as an extensive history of working with those suffering from symptoms of anxiety, depression, mood lability, psychosis, trauma, substance abuse, eating disorders, and personality disorders.
I have spent the last 18 years working with children and adolescents in residential treatment settings and the previous four years working with adults in residential treatment. I obtained my Master of Nursing specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Walden University.
Completing this program prepared me to sit for the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) National Boards to hold a license in Pennsylvania to evaluate, diagnose, and treat mental health disorders. While most of my role is evaluation and medication management, I also believe therapy and developing skills during the therapeutic process is the key to a successful treatment plan. My goal is to therapeutically work with you to treat the symptoms that you are experiencing, whether that be through exploring medication options or not, as you continue to work toward your therapy goals.
I look forward to beginning your healing as we work together to plan and build a regimen that is tailored for you.
