Dr. Erin walsh, psyd
outpatient therapist
My name is Erin Walsh , Psy. D (she/her/hers) and I am a licensed clinical psychologist working with patients 18 and older.
I completed my doctoral degree in clinical psychology with an emphasis in trauma interventions at West Chester University of Pennsylvania. I completed my post-doctoral fellowship training in health psychology and trauma informed care.
As a clinician, I provide affirming inclusive care for all patients including those in the LGBTQ+ and disability community. As a health psychologist, I specialize in working with patients whose distress may stem from managing chronic and acute health concerns. Relatedly, as a trauma informed provider, my work centers around rebuilding original narratives that are no longer serving a patient to a more adaptive narrative through meaning making therapies and cognitive behavioral therapy.
Within my work, I believe in the importance of fostering a collaborative, warm, empathic, supportive space that empowers the patient to show up as their unique and vulnerable self. Through this important and vital authentic gesture, I can gently guide, bear witness, and offer resources to support the patient in meeting their therapeutic needs.
