Donna Sabella (She/her), PhD, M.Ed., MSN, PMHNP-BC

Outpatient Therapist

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with experience providing both therapy and medication management for individuals age 13 and older. My approach is warm, compassionate, and tailored to each client’s unique needs.

I draw from evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Existential Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or navigating life transitions, I’m here to support your goals and growth.

In addition to clinical work, I’ve spent much of my career addressing trauma, social justice, and mental health advocacy. I’ve led programs supporting survivors of trafficking and incarcerated women, and I continue to teach in the graduate Psychiatric NP program at UMass Amherst.

I hold a PhD from the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education, an MSN from Widener University, and a post-master’s certificate in psychiatric nursing from the University of Pennsylvania. I speak Portuguese and have lived and worked internationally, which enriches my work with clients from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

If you’re looking for a provider who brings deep clinical experience and a caring, nonjudgmental presence, I’d be honored to work with you.
